Hilliard, Ohio

"Hilliard is a place for everyone" is more than just a slogan in this community, it is the philosophy that has guided the Hilliard district during its explosive growth in the past decade. Hilliard offers a broad range of housing options and employment opportunities that has created a diverse mingling of lifestyles and has made it a truly unique community in which to live. Of prime importance has been carefully balancing commercial and industrial growth along with residential growth. We boast one of the healthiest tax bases in the state with more than 40 percent of the tax revenue coming from the business sector.

A major reason that Hilliard has been one of the fastest growing municipalities in the state of Ohio is building the quality of its schools. The school district consists of 11 elementary schools, a sixth grade school, two middle schools, and two high schools, all of which are new or recently renovated.

The Hilliard area is also very proud of its parks and recreational facilities, including the award-winning Homestead Park, seventeen city parks, including an 80-acre Municipal Park (housing one of the city's two Olympic-size swimming pools), and the entrance to Rails-to-Trails (a bicycling-jogging-walking path that ends in Plain City).

In contrast to all the new growth is the revitalization of Old Hilliard, which helps remind us of days gone by and to retain our small town charm. Hilliard is a blending of young and old, big and small, and is a wonderful place to call home for people and businesses of all types.
